Our Story
The Miss-gorilla foods concept was developed by Mr. James Kalu and his wife, two food-inspired people who knew that Nigerians and indeed Africans deserved better quality food choices for their hard-earned money The premise was simple: develop unique or superior products that offered better value to everyone. The idea may have been simple, but few could have anticipated how Nigerian consumers would come to embrace the Miss Gorilla brand to make it one of Nigeria’s best-known food trademarks.
What We Do
We’re best known for our food products but we recognize, and our customers seem to agree, that our Spices, Herbs and seasoning is not only local but also indigenous to us. The introduction of our ever-growing line up of Spices, Herbs and seasoning products, applying our better-quality-for-less-money formula to the natural food items Nigerians need around the house every day was a success, both the public and the press heralded the introduction.
